Gisella, the Founder and Managing Partner of SUMAQ Law Firm, has over ten years of experience in the areas of Intellectual Property, Copyright, Franchises and Distribution Contracts. Gisella has worked in top-level firms in Peru and Spain, dealing with administrative, civil and criminal procedures covering all kinds of disputes regarding Intellectual Property. She has represented companies from industries as varied as hotels and restaurants, textiles and household appliances, protecting their intellectual property rights before the courts.
She frequently advises on contractual issues as well as on advertising, unfair competition, e-commerce and data protection for Spanish and international companies in the food, alcoholic drinks, fashion and jewelry industries.
She often speaks at various seminars and workshops related to Intellectual Property, Copyright and Unfair Competition matters.
